Through charrettes with neighbors, local businesses, designers, and city staff, we’re identifying practical, low-cost pilot improvements—like lighting, wayfinding, art, and planting—while addressing real infrastructure needs such as trash service and access. The goal is a phased, maintainable “third place” that can grow over time through partnerships and stewardship.
Our goal is to transform the alley from a liability to neighbors and businesses to an asset that drives traffic and serves as an amenity to be used for both locals and visitors alike to see art, walk, find new businesses and build a relationship with the neighborhood.
